California Adventure is Disneyland Resorts' second park. It opened in 2001. It was meant to be a park that explored the beauty of California all in one place.

Magic Facts

- The graffiti on the side of WEB was designed by Miles Morales. Miles is Spider-Man in an alternate universe from "Into the Spider-Vers." You can find his signature in the upper right-hand corner.
- Look for all the signs that this CAMPUS was once an SSR (Special Scientific Reserve, where Steve Rogers became Captain America). On the side of the WEB slingers is a Stark Industries ad. Off in a corner near one of the entrances to the WEB Suppliers gift shop, you'll find a faded logo of the SSR. On the opposite side of the faded logo, you'll find signs designating the reserved parking spaces for Peggy Carter, Edwin Jarvis, and Howard Stark.
- Stickers and signs for Lucky Dog Pizza can be found throughout the campus. These are references to Hawkeye's dog Lucky in the original comics.

- If you meet Big Red with a birthday button he might ‘sing’ you Happy Birthday.
- You can watch Cars Land light up every night at sunset.
- The Cadillac Ridge tail fins start at the left with 1957 and go all the way to 1962.
- The Catmull Oil sign at Radiator Springs Curios shop pays tribute to the president of Pixar.
- Every 3rd blink on the stop light in Cars Land is longer, proving Filmore's theory correct.

Tips

- Incredicoaster! This ride is cool and fun and even neater if you go at night! Plus you can get cookie num nums after which are the best
- Radiator springs racers. This is the ride EVERYONE will rope drop. If you want to do this ride as a family I suggest rope dropping but we will typically just single rider it around lunchtime
- Guardians mission breakout is really fun especially if you love the Guardians! (fun queue and I LOVE the rocket animatronic in the pre-show). This is the ride I rope drop because it's ~usually~ less crazy than the cars one but not always. Remember this ride has different songs and sequences! Also, non-riders can still go through the show and pre-show and then exit right before the elevators if they want to see everything but not drop.
Soarin' although this ride queue sucks when it's really hot out.
-Monsters Inc. This ride is cute for adults and kids alike!

-I love to eat at Pym's. Ant-Man is one of my favorite Avengers so this is really fun! The pretzel is really tasty and can easily be shared plus it is one of the few locations with the Cola Free Choice!
- I also love to go to the Hangar Bar. Simple food with tons of seating!
- I ate at Lamplight and it was okay! We were a little disappointed to find out we were sitting outside with no view. The food wasn't too bad but I would go back just for the DONUTS!!
