FINDING NEMO SUBMARINE VOYAGE

TOMORROWLAND

-Any height

-Dark ride

-Tight squeeze

"With all the humor and heart of the original film, this immersive submarine ride takes you on an unforgettable ocean adventure—to find a missing clown fish.

Climb down into a yellow research submarine operated by the Nautical Exploration and Marine Observation Institute (N.E.M.O.).

Peek through the portholes as you sail past scuba divers and artifacts of an ancient civilization scattered along the seafloor.

For those unable to navigate the narrow steps down into the submarine, you can proceed to the Observation Outpost at the end of the dock. Manned by a member of the N.E.M.O. Institute, this facility offers a high-definition, live-feed video version of the voyage via onboard 'SubCam.'"

Magic Facts

--The original Submarine Voyage launched June 1959 and was one of the first "E" Ticket attractions. It sailed for the last time September 7, 1998
--If Nemo’s Submarines make you sick, nervous, or you want a different experience, ask to see the observation deck. You can watch the ride in a room on a video screen.
--The original submarine ride had real mermaids that would swim through the lagoon.
--The submarines in Nemo’s Voyage were actually contracted by the navy when it was the original submarine ride. Disney had the 8th largest submarine fleet in the world, which Walt enjoyed bragging about.

Review

This ride is very cramped! These are real submarines after all, so there is not a lot of room. This one is a skip for me, but if this is your first/only visit I would consider going on this one as it is quite unique.
