"Hurtle through a snow-capped mountain on a speeding alpine sled while avoiding the clutches of the Abominable Snowman."

Magic Facts

--The Matterhorn mountain is 1/100 scale of the real one.
--At the top of the Matterhorn is a platform that climbers used to stand on and wave down at people. On that platform now is a lightning rod as well as weather instruments that measure wind speed, air temperature, and rainfall.
--Across from the Matterhorn sits the “3 fences.” This is where 3 fences from 3 decades connect. The first is the white one from 1959, then the teal fence from the 1980s, and finally the black fence from the early 2000s.
--More than 800 gallons of paint were used to create heavier snowfall on the north-facing—just like the real Matterhorn. Glass beads on the façade glitter like actual snow.

Review

I don't love this ride but I also don't hate it. There are two different tracks, which makes it fun, but the ride is just so jerky that I don't go on it everytime I vist Disneyland.
