Magic Facts

--It takes 20 minutes to do a full loop on the railroad.
--New Orleans station: The “semaphore” (train signal) at the train station is used to signal to conductors when there is a change in plans. It is one of the last few still working semaphores and was donated from Hudson and Delaware Railroad. The black signal goes down when the train is approaching.
--New Orleans station: The clacking at the train station is Walt’s opening day speech in Morse Code.
--The 5 meticulously restored, working narrow-gauge engines were named after American locomotive legends. The lone exception is the Ward Kimball, named after the Disney Animator who originally inspired Walt Disney’s passion for the railway. The engines are: C.K. Holliday, E.P. Ripley, Ernest Marsh, Fred Gurley, Ward Kimball

Review

I love doing the full circle tour at least once during my trip. It's such a nice rest for your feet and you can have a snack on board too! There are two types of train cars, some that face forward and some that face sideways. For a better view, wait for the train with the sideways cars, but if you are just trying to get across the park quickly then don't worry about it. This is something I always forget to utilize, but it can be a nice way to pass the crowds when trying to get to different lands in the park!
